Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the crwl application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), which are operated by MFH, LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility & Account Security
- You must be 21 years of age or older (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction) to create or use a crwl account.
- You must truthfully confirm your age when prompted. We may require you to re-confirm age or provide additional proof if needed.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
BAC Estimates & No Legal Use
- BAC values in the Service are estimates only and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
- Do not rely on BAC values to determine whether it is safe or legal to drive, work, or perform any activity. The only safe BAC for driving is 0.00%.
- These estimates are not admissible evidence and are provided for informational purposes only.
- You remain solely responsible for complying with all laws and safety obligations.
Appropriate Use
- Use the Service to celebrate community and responsible enjoyment.
- Do not post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, exploitative, or otherwise harmful.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these expectations or applicable laws.
No Professional Advice
crwl does not provide medical, nutritional, counseling, or legal advice. Any tips shared through the Service are user opinions only. Consult qualified professionals for specific guidance about alcohol consumption or personal health.
Release & Assumption of Risk
Alcohol consumption carries inherent risks, including injury, illness, property damage, legal consequences, and death. By participating in events coordinated through the Service or acting on any information you record or receive, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all associated risks. This includes any reliance on BAC estimates shown in the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law you release and hold harmless MFH, LLC, its founders, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy, or reliability. In no event shall MFH, LLC be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.
Consent Records
We may prompt you to confirm your age and acknowledge the BAC disclaimer. You agree that we may record your consent (including account identifier, timestamp, app/build version, and terms version) for compliance and audit purposes. If the wording materially changes, you may be asked to reconfirm.
User Conduct & Community Safety
- Respect venue policies, bartenders, staff, neighbors, and other guests.
- Do not share another person's private information without consent.
- Report unsafe behavior or abuse through the in-app feedback tools or by emailing support@mfh.dev.
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the photos, notes, and other materials you upload. By posting content you grant MFH, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and share the content as necessary to operate the Service.
Third-Party Services
The Service may link to or integrate third-party venues, transportation, or mapping services. We do not control or endorse those providers and are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or risks harm to the community. You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting support.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted in the app and on the crwl website with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
