This Privacy Policy describes how MFH, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the mazi mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to this policy.
Information We Collect
- Account information. We process identifiers and basic account information supplied through Sign in with Apple or email authentication, including your email address when applicable.
- Profile information. We store information you choose to provide, such as your display name, username, biography, profile image, and home city.
- Event information. We store event details, artwork, venue information, ticket links, invitations, and hosting information that you submit.
- Social activity. We process RSVPs, saved events, follows, attendee-visibility preferences, and related activity needed to provide mazi's event and community features.
- Device and service information. We may process app version, device type, operating system, crash and performance diagnostics, timestamps, and security information needed to operate and protect the Service.
- Support and safety information. We retain information you provide in support requests, reports, appeals, or other safety communications.
How We Use Information
- Authenticate accounts and maintain account security.
- Operate profiles, event discovery, hosting, invitations, RSVPs, saved events, and social features.
- Apply privacy choices, including private-event and attendee-visibility controls.
- Provide support, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, and moderate harmful or misleading content.
- Maintain, analyze, and improve reliability and performance.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Legal Terms.
Visibility and Sharing
- With other members. Profile information and public events may be visible to signed-in mazi members. Event hosts may see attendance information for their events.
- Private events. Private events are intended to be visible only to their hosts and invited members.
- Attendee information. Named attendee information may be restricted until a member RSVPs, while event hosts may manage attendance for their events.
- With service providers. We use providers including Apple, Firebase, and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, storage, and related infrastructure.
- External ticket providers. When you open an external ticket link, the destination provider receives information under its own privacy policy.
- For legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect MFH, LLC, our members, or others.
We do not sell personal information.
Retention and Account Deletion
You may initiate account deletion in mazi Settings. Account access, your profile, private preferences, and username reservation are removed through that process. Some shared event, moderation, fraud-prevention, safety, transaction, or legal records may be retained or de-identified when reasonably necessary to protect other members, maintain service integrity, resolve disputes, or comply with law.
Your Choices
- Edit your profile and account information in the app.
- Control notification and attendee-visibility preferences as those features become available.
- Manage Apple and device permissions through iOS Settings.
- Sign out or initiate account deletion from mazi Settings.
Children
The Service is intended for individuals 13 years of age or older, or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Processing
Information may be processed and stored outside your state or country. We take steps to handle information in accordance with applicable law wherever it is processed.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
